Bronze Era Basics

$50.00

Combine the best of both worlds. Plenty of big, progressable exercises supported by longer range movements that the Bronze Era greats recommended to beginners such as the Pullover and the Jefferson Curl. This 3 day/week full body training program is accessible to beginners but is more than sufficient for more experienced lifters to make great progress too. And best of all, it’ll establish the movement foundations for a long and healthy lifting career!

About the Program

Modern novice programs emphasize big loadable movements, which works really well for allowing trainees to progress quickly, leading to rapid size and strength gains.

In contrast, the prevailing philosophy in the bronze era was to begin with lighter longer range movements to build strength throughout full range of motion before progressing to bigger, more loadable lifts.

This approach may have been slower, but it established a better foundation of mobility and resilience, thus preventing injuries down the road.

What I set out to do with this program was to combine the best of both worlds, plenty of big, progressable exercises supported by longer range movements that the Bronze Era greats recommended to beginners such as the pullover and the Jefferson Curl.

This comprehensive three day per week full body training program is accessible to beginners but is more than sufficient for more experienced lifters to make great progress too.

And best of all, it’ll establish the movement foundations for a long and healthy lifting career!

By completing the Bronze Era Basics program, you can expect to:

  • Build functional strength and range of motion
  • Build muscle and versatility to your physique
  • Master movements like the Zercher Deadlift & other old-school exercises
  • Improve your total body strength
